The Project Management Process

Through regularly scheduled project reviews, the Project Manager and the Total Management Team establish the parameters for evaluating and approving every step in program development.

Phase I - Concept Development

  • Project critical path planning
  • Process simulation and visualization
  • Analyze current equipment performance
  • Benchmark emerging technologies
  • Identify risk and opportunities
  • Concept design reviews

Phase II - Design

  • Determine project critical inspections (control plan)
  • Off-line program development using robot simulation
  • Design reviews prior to manufacturing release

Phase III - Manufacturing

  • System integration
  • Perform project critical inspections
  • Bar code tracking to provide real-time progress reporting

Phase IV - System Validation

  • Test and verification of critical parameters, including cycle time, throughput and reliability
  • Machinery Qualification Run-off (At Gonzalez Production Systems and your facility)

Phase V - Installation and Launch

  • Performed by the same Project Team that was dedicated to your project from inception

Phase VI - Service and Support

  • Provide post-launch support
  • Warranty and maintenance support
  • Equipment field performance reporting and analysis

In addition to these critical procedural safeguards, all Project Managers are required to continually upgrade their knowledge base with training to keep them abreast of advancements in technology, methods and systems.
