The Semi-Kinetics Process

Semi-Kinetics is an ISO 9002 and QS 9000 certified facility.  We have strategically placed quality control steps throughout the process to assure you a quality product.  All quality personnel are trained to inspect to IPC 610 quality standards. Our inspectors perform incoming inspections, first article inspections, preflow inspections, and final inspections, as called out for on our production traveler.  In addition SPC data is gathered and complied by the quality department and used to fine-tune our process.

Production Control - Each job is given a carefully planned production traveler. This document will include drawings, B.O.M.'s and special instructions for each step in the process. The traveler will guide each job through the factory and is signed off at each step.

component placementComponent Placement - Your surface mount components, from fine pitch to ball grid array to chip resistors, are placed by automation. Our system is extremely flexible. It combines high placement rates with laser and vision alignment. Single- and double-sided boards are assembled. The equipment is quick to set up. We welcome both prototype and production runs. Through-hole components are placed into their PCB's on a self-checking walk line. The walk line is very quick to set up and insures your boards are built quickly and correctly.

solderingSoldering - Semi-Kinetics utilizes a state of the art convection reflow oven for surface mount boards. The boards are profiled and the data is registered on the production traveler to insure repeatability. Through-hole boards are soldered on a state of the art dual wave inclined solder machine.  Both aqueous and no-clean processes are available.

Transportation - Your finished product is packaged to your specifications and we offer a full range of delivery services, including free local pick up and delivery.
